Working principle

Connection confirmation: When the charging gun is inserted into the vehicle charging socket, the charging pile detects the connection status through the signal line, such as the voltage change of CC1 and CC2, to confirm that the charging gun is connected.

Control electronic lock: The charging pile controls the locking and unlocking of the electronic lock through the signal line. When the electronic lock is locked, it will feed back the lock signal to the charging pile through the signal line, and the charging pile will recognize the feedback signal and start the charging mode.

Communication handshake: The charging gun communicates with the vehicle's battery management system (BMS) through the signal line to confirm the charging parameters and status, and only if compatible, the charging pile will tell the BMS how much voltage and current to input.

Unlocking control: Before drawing the gun, the lock button (switch S) on the charging gun is pressed, resulting in a voltage change at detection point 1. After detecting this change, the charging pile will cut off the power supply and stop charging before drawing the gun.

Emergency unlock: In the case of system failure or power failure, the signal line is also responsible for transmitting emergency unlock signals to ensure that the charging connection device can be unlocked to avoid the failure of the electronic system to unlock the problem.
