Function

Temperature monitoring: The current temperature of the heat sink or charging gun head is collected by the temperature sensor, and the data is sent to the MCU.

Intelligent control: The single chip computer determines the output instructions to the motor according to the received temperature data, which includes turning on the fan, turning off the fan or adjusting the fan speed.

Energy saving: Through intelligent control of the operation of the fan, reduce energy waste, especially in the DC charging pile working mode, to avoid a lot of energy waste caused by the continuous operation of the fan.

Safety protection: When the temperature is detected to be too high, the controller can control the charging pile to stop the charging output or reduce the charging output current to protect the safety of charging equipment and electric vehicles.

Working principle

Temperature acquisition: Temperature sensors are installed at key points of the charging pile (such as heat sinks or charging gun heads) to monitor temperature changes in real time.

Data processing: The MCU receives the temperature data from the temperature sensor, and judges the current temperature state according to the preset threshold temperature and temperature interval.

Output instructions: According to the processing results of the MCU output corresponding instructions to the motor, these instructions include open instructions, close instructions and adjustment instructions.

Fan control: The motor controls the operation of the fan according to the received instructions, and the fan adjusts the speed according to the voltage applied by the motor, thereby cooling the heat sink.

Differential calculation: In some systems, two temperature sensors are used to detect the temperature of the positive and negative electrodes of the charging gun head, and the temperature difference is obtained through differential calculation, and the controller controls whether to charge according to the temperature difference.

Through this intelligent temperature control mechanism, the DC charging pile can improve the safety and energy saving effect while ensuring the charging efficiency.
