The charging status indicator function of charge control chip is introduced

The charging status indicator function of the charging control chip is to clearly show the user the different states of the battery charging process to ensure that the user can intuitively understand the charging progress and status. The following is the introduction of the charging status indicator function in the charging control chip:

Main component

LED indicator

Many charge control chips, such as SUM4156 and SUM4056, support LED lights to indicate the charging status. Usually, the red LED light is used to indicate that the charge is in progress, and the green LED light is used to indicate that the charge is full. This dual light indicating system provides intuitive visual feedback to the user.

Charge status pins

Some charge control chips, such as YX2811, have special charge and working status indication pins, which can be configured as LED lights or other indicators to show charge, full, discharge and low battery status.

Constant current control technology

In some charge control chips, such as SUM4056B, the indicator pin integrates constant current control technology, without external current limiting resistance, to ensure that the indicator light is stable.

Status indicating logic

The charge control chip usually has a preset status indicating logic. For example, in the ASC8511, the red light goes on during charging; When the charging end signal comes, the green light is on and the red light is off; In the abnormal state of charging, the red light will blink at certain intervals.

Intelligent charging stage indicator

The charging control chip can indicate different charging stages, such as pre-charging, constant current charging and constant voltage charging. In the XNC7210, the charge status indicator function integrates pre-charge, charge status indicator, and charge cutoff functions.

Fault and abnormal state indicator

In addition to the normal charging state, the charge control chip can also indicate the fault and abnormal state. For example, in SUM4056, if an input undervoltage occurs, both the CHRG and STDBY lights go off to alert the user.

Human-computer interaction equipment

In the charging pile, human-computer interaction devices such as the display screen and card reader also provide charging mode Settings and start-stop control operations, while the signal lamp provides "standby", "charging" and "full" status indicators.

With these features, the charge control chip not only ensures that the battery is charged safely and efficiently, but also provides a user-friendly interactive experience that enables users to monitor the charging process in real time.

DC CHARGING PIlE SERIES

DC charging pile is an efficient charging facility for electric vehicles, which uses direct current (DC) to directly charge the vehicle battery, significantly reducing the charging time. Compared with traditional AC charging piles, DC charging piles are able to provide higher power output and can usually charge an EV to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes, providing users with a convenient charging experience.
