Purpose of winding

The purpose of the winding process is to wrap the positive electrode sheet, negative electrode sheet and diaphragm in layers at the same time after the die cutting, so that the positive and negative electrode sheet and diaphragm are evenly overlapping, and the positive and negative electrode lugs are aligned and orderly superimposed, so as to prepare for the next step of preheating & hot pressing &Hi-pot test, and ultrasonic welding of the pole lugs.

Winding process requirements

The center distance of the pole ear must meet the specifications, the pole ear and the pole plate are not broken, and the pole ear is not wrinkled. The coating and appearance of the core also need to meet certain process requirements, such as the Overhang of the head and tail meet the process requirements, the Overhang of the diaphragm, positive and negative terminals meet the process requirements, and the position of the Mark hole meet the requirements of the winding equipment.

Follow-up procedure

For qualified cells, further packaging and assembly are required to finally form a finished lithium battery ready for use.
