Material technology

In the manufacture of low-speed vehicle batteries, material technology is a key factor in determining battery performance, cost, safety and environmental protection. The core performance of the battery, such as energy density, cycle life, charging speed, safety and temperature control, are closely related to the material used. Material technology

Material technology plays a crucial role in the manufacture of low-speed vehicle batteries, which directly affects the performance, stability, safety and production cost of batteries. With the continuous development of new materials, the future low-speed vehicle batteries will be able to make significant breakthroughs in energy density, charge and discharge efficiency, cycle life and safety. By continuously optimizing existing materials and introducing innovative materials, battery technology will provide more efficient, economical and environmentally friendly energy solutions for the low-speed vehicle industry.

Battery material type

Positive materials

such as lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄), lithium cobaltate (LiCoO₂), ** ternary material (nickel-cobalt-aluminum/nickel-cobalt-titanium) **, etc. Lithium iron phosphate is widely used in low-speed vehicle batteries because of its high safety and long cycle life, but the energy density is low. Ternary materials have a higher energy density, but the cost and safety are relatively low. The choice of anode material directly affects the capacity, efficiency and stability of the battery.

Anode materials

mainly graphite and silicon-based materials. The cyclic stability of graphite is good, but the energy density is limited. In recent years, silicon-based anode materials have become a research hotspot due to their high theoretical capacity, which is expected to significantly improve the energy density of batteries, but it still faces problems such as expansion and fragmentation in practical applications.

Electrolyte

Electrolyte is the conductive medium in the battery, which can provide ion flow during the battery charging and discharging process. The choice of electrolyte has an important effect on the temperature stability, charging and discharging efficiency and safety of the battery. Common electrolytes include organic solvent liquid electrolytes containing lithium salts, as well as solid-state electrolytes (which are used more in solid-state batteries).

Diaphragm material

Diaphragm is the key material between the positive and negative electrodes in the battery, which should not only prevent the electrode from short circuit, but also have good ionic conductivity. Common diaphragm materials include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) ** and so on. These materials require good mechanical strength, high temperature resistance and chemical stability.
