Liquid cooling plate is a heat dissipation device that uses liquid circulation to take away heat. It is usually made of a material with a high thermal conductivity, such as copper or aluminum alloy, and is designed with fine flow channels inside so that the coolant flows through it and absorbs the heat generated by the charging module .

Function:

The main function of the liquid cooling plate is to protect the charging module from overheating. When the DC charging pile is working, the charging module will generate a lot of heat. The liquid cooling plate takes away this heat quickly through contact with the coolant, thus keeping the module running at a suitable operating temperature, improving charging efficiency and extending the life of the device .

Working Principle:

The working principle of the liquid cooling plate is based on heat exchange. When the coolant (such as water, glycol, etc.) circulates in the flow channel of the liquid cooling plate, it absorbs the heat generated by the charging module. As the temperature of the liquid rises, it carries the heat to the external radiator, which dissipates the heat to the environment through a fan or natural convection, and the cooled liquid is circulated back to the liquid cooling plate again, forming a closed-loop cooling system .

Application of DC charging pile

In the DC charging pile, the liquid cooling plate is usually installed between the power module and the charging pile housing. When working, the fluid cooled by the soil flows into the liquid cooling plate, carries out natural convection heat transfer with the air inside the charging pile, and then conducts the cold amount to the power module of the charging pile, reducing the working temperature of the power module.The use of the liquid cooling plate not only improves the heat dissipation efficiency of the charging pile, but also improves the protection level due to its fully enclosed design, reduces maintenance needs, reduces noise, and improves the user experience .
