Introduction to magnetic bead of DC charging pile filter

The magnetic bead in DC charging pile filter is a kind of passive electronic component specially used to suppress high-frequency noise and peak interference. The following is an introduction to the concept of magnetic beads:

Main component

Concept:

Magnetic beads, also known as Ferrite beads, are an inductive EMI squelch filter made of ferrite material. It has high resistivity and permeability, and can show resistance at high frequencies, so as to maintain a high impedance in a wide frequency range and effectively absorb high-frequency noise. The circuit symbol of the magnetic bead is the same as that of the inductor, but in function, the principle of the magnetic bead and the inductor is the same, only the frequency characteristics are different.

Function:

The main function of the magnetic bead is to filter out high-frequency noise and spike interference, while allowing lower frequency signals or direct current to pass through almost unhindered. In the DC charging pile, the magnetic bead can be used to filter the power line and signal line, effectively inhibit the propagation of high-frequency noise, and improve the anti-interference ability of the circuit. Magnetic beads can also improve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues, enhancing the stability and reliability of electronic devices.

Working Principle:

The working principle of the magnetic bead is based on its impedance characteristics, that is, it is mainly inductive at low frequencies and resistance at high frequencies. When the high-frequency noise passes through the magnetic bead, the inductance inside the magnetic bead will produce a large impedance, converting the high-frequency noise into heat energy and consuming it to achieve the purpose of eliminating noise. At the same time, the resistance value of the magnetic bead to the DC signal is almost zero, so it will not affect the normal operation of the circuit. The impedance (Z) of the magnetic bead is composed of the resistance component (R) and the reactance component (X), which exhibits different impedance characteristics at different frequencies, and the impedance value at a specific frequency (such as 100MHz) is usually used to characterize the performance of the magnetic bead.

DC CHARGING PIlE SERIES

DC charging pile is an efficient charging facility for electric vehicles, which uses direct current (DC) to directly charge the vehicle battery, significantly reducing the charging time. Compared with traditional AC charging piles, DC charging piles are able to provide higher power output and can usually charge an EV to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes, providing users with a convenient charging experience.
