The use of fire emergency power supply EPS can be carried out according to the following steps:

Boot procedure

Connect the AC power input to the AC input terminal block of the EPS.
Connect the AC output feeder.
Close the two AC incoming line switches and AC general distribution switches on the panel.
Close the charger input/output switch and battery switch.
After the boot process is over, EPS will run automatically for a long time.

Working mode

Main power supply mode: When the mains is normal, the mains supplies power to the load through the interthrowing device, while the charger charges the battery, and the inverter stops working and automatically shuts down.
Battery inverter mode: When the mains power supply is interrupted or the mains voltage exceeds the limit, the intercasting device will immediately switch to the inverter power supply. The power supply used by the user load is the AC power converted by the EPS inverter.
Manual maintenance bypass mode: During on-line maintenance, close the maintenance bypass switch, break the switch output switch and bypass switch, and completely disconnect the circuit part of EPS and the input and output without interrupting the user's output.

Shutdown steps

Turn off the battery switch and the charger input/output switch.
Then disconnect the AC general distribution switch and the two AC incoming line switch.

Conditions of use

The temperature should be maintained at 0 ° C to 40 ° C, and the average temperature within 24 hours should not exceed 35 ° C.
The relative humidity ranges from 0% to 90%, not exceeding 90%.
Keep away from direct sunlight and flammable, explosive and corrosive gases.
The altitude does not exceed 3000m. When the altitude exceeds 3000m, the derating is used. The derating is reduced by 10% for every 1000m.
The installation environment must be at least 800mm larger than the front, rear, left, right, and top of the chassis to facilitate heat dissipation and routine maintenance. Floor force requirements: 1500kg/㎡.

Electrical requirements

Input voltage frequency: single-phase 187~242VAC,50Hz±5%, three-phase: phase voltage 187~242VAC, line voltage 323~418VAC; 50Hz±5%.
Emergency output voltage frequency: single-phase 220±3%VAC, 50Hz±0.5%, three-phase: phase voltage 220±3%VAC, line voltage 380±3%VAC; 50Hz±0.5%.

Load capacity selection principle

The rated output power of EPS should not be less than 1.3 times the total capacity of the connected emergency lighting load. The initial capacity of the battery must be reserved for at least 90 minutes.

Switching time requirements

When used as a safety lighting power supply device, it should not be greater than 0.25 seconds; When used as an evacuation lighting power supply device, it should not be longer than 5 seconds; When used as a backup lighting power supply device, it should not be longer than 5 seconds; Financial and commercial transactions should not be longer than 1.5 seconds.
