High energy density

High energy density refers to the electrical energy that can be stored per unit volume or unit mass of the battery, which is an important indicator to measure the performance of the energy storage system. Tower backup energy storage batteries use high energy density battery technology, usually using lithium-ion batteries or other high-performance battery types, which have a more prominent energy density than traditional lead-acid batteries

High energy density batteries can respond quickly to changes in dynamic loads, that is, they can provide instantaneous high power when the power demand is peak, meet the demand for instantaneous high loads, and charge when the power demand is low. This responsiveness is important for places with erratic loads or intermittent demand, such as data centers, industrial facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations.

Optimize the battery charge and discharge cycle

Because high energy density batteries can store more electricity per unit volume, their charge and discharge cycles are relatively long, reducing the frequent charge and discharge times of the battery, thereby extending the overall service life of the battery. Longer charge and discharge cycles mean batteries are updated and replaced less frequently, helping to reduce maintenance and replacement costs.
