Proper fixing and support can ensure the safe operation of the system, prevent accidental tipping or movement, and extend the service life of the equipment.

Fixation and support

The requirements for fixing and supporting tower backup energy storage batteries include solid foundation, anti-toppling design, anti-seismic measures, maintenance space reservation, and modular fixing. These measures can effectively improve the stability and security of the system, provide a basic guarantee for long-term secure operation, and facilitate daily management and maintenance.

Specific content

The energy storage battery should be installed on a flat, solid ground or support structure to bear its weight and maintain long-term stability. It is recommended to select a concrete floor or metal frame foundation with sufficient load-bearing capacity. If necessary, use reinforcing materials to enhance the support strength.

Tower batteries usually have a high center of gravity, so anti-tipping measures need to be taken during installation. For example, anchor bolts can be used to secure the base of the device firmly to the ground, or guardrails and retainers can be installed around the battery to improve stability.

For areas with frequent seismic activity, the seismic performance of the energy storage system needs to be considered. It is recommended to use a seismic support or shock pad to reduce the impact of vibration on the equipment and reduce the risk of tipping or shifting during an earthquake.

When fixing the energy storage battery, reserve enough space around the device (usually more than 0.5 meters) to facilitate subsequent inspection and maintenance operations. At the same time, reasonable spacing also contributes to the heat dissipation and ventilation of the equipment.

If the energy storage system consists of multiple battery modules, it is recommended to use a modular design bracket to fix the layers. Each module should be tightly fitted and independently fixed to avoid the stability of the entire system due to the loosening of a single module.

Fixing and supporting operations should be done by a professional team to ensure installation quality. During construction, strictly follow the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer and use compliant fasteners and tools.
