Environmental requirement

The environmental requirements for tower backup energy storage batteries include temperature and humidity control, water and dust proofing, ventilation and heat dissipation, and distance from dangerous sources. These requirements can effectively avoid the impact of environmental factors on battery performance, and provide a strong guarantee for the stable operation and long life of the system.

Specific requirements

Energy storage batteries are sensitive to ambient temperature, and it is recommended to control the temperature between 0°C and 40°C (the best range is 20°C to 25°C) to avoid the impact of too high or too low temperature on battery capacity and life. The humidity should be kept between 40% and 60% to avoid corrosion or short circuit of electrical components caused by wet environment.

The battery installation site must be waterproof and dust-proof to prevent rain, stagnant water, or dust from entering the device. You are advised to install it in a cabinet or dedicated energy storage space certified with IP (protection level), and clean the surrounding environment regularly to avoid dust accumulation.

Storage batteries generate a certain amount of heat during operation. Therefore, the installation site must be well ventilated to avoid overheating caused by heat accumulation. You are advised to reserve enough space for heat dissipation to ensure unimpeded air flow around the battery string. In addition, equipment such as air conditioners or fans can be used to maintain a suitable operating temperature.

Keep the energy storage battery away from flammable and explosive materials, corrosive chemicals, and strong electromagnetic interference sources to prevent damage to the device from external factors. The installation site should also avoid frequent vibration or geologically unstable areas to reduce the risks that the battery may face during operation.

During the design and installation, sufficient spacing (usually more than 0.5 meters) should be reserved between the energy storage battery system and other devices or walls to facilitate subsequent inspection and maintenance operations. At the same time, this layout contributes to the heat dissipation and operational safety of the system.
