Key requirements and considerations

Wiring specification

The electrical connection of the energy storage battery must comply with relevant standards and specifications to ensure safe and reliable wiring.
Cable selection: Use power cables that meet specifications, are resistant to high temperature, and corrosion. You are advised to select a cable with a large cross-section to support the maximum power load of the system. Terminal: Ensure that the terminal is firmly fastened to avoid loose or poor contact. Crimp the terminal with professional tools when necessary.
Polarity identifier: When connecting positive and negative terminals, cables should be connected in strict accordance with the polarity identifier to prevent damage or danger to the device caused by reverse connection.

Ground protection

To prevent the risk of leakage and improve safety, the battery system must be properly grounded.
Grounding conductor: Use a low-impedance grounding wire and ensure that the grounding resistance meets the design requirements (usually no more than 10 ohms).
Multi-point grounding: In large-scale energy storage systems, it is recommended to use multi-point grounding to disperse current and effectively reduce electromagnetic interference.
Lightning protection: In lightning-prone areas, the battery system must be equipped with a lightning arrester or lightning protection net to prevent lightning strikes from damaging the device.

Power interface configuration

The electrical connections must be coordinated with the battery management system (BMS) and external loads to ensure stable system operation.
Standard interface: The modular standard interface is preferred to facilitate device expansion or replacement.
Overload protection: overload protection devices (such as fuses or circuit breakers) are set in the circuit to avoid damage to the battery due to excessive current.
Communication interface: The data transmission line is laid and connected to the intelligent control system to facilitate real-time monitoring of the battery status.

Insulation and safety protection

In order to prevent short circuit, leakage or electric shock accidents, it is necessary to strengthen the insulation and protection of electrical connections.
Cable protection: All cables should be covered with insulation cover, and cable trays or pipes should be used to protect exposed cables.
Isolation device: Physical isolation is set between battery modules to prevent cascading problems caused by connection component failures.
Protection level: Ensure that connectors and equipment meet IP65 or higher and adapt to complex environmental conditions.
