Concept:

The display and user interaction component of the DC charging pile meter is a key component of the charging pile, which not only provides real-time charging data display, but also allows users to interact with the charging pile. These components typically include LCD displays, physical buttons or touch screens, and possibly card readers or QR code scanners.

Function:

Information display: Displays real-time charging data, such as charging time, charged amount, current electricity price, charging price and other information and operating status.

User operation: Allows users to operate through physical buttons or touch screens, such as setting charging parameters, starting and stopping charging.

Transaction processing: Support payment functions, such as scanning code payment and swipe card payment, provide top-up card payment options.

Status feedback: "Standby", "charge" and "full" status indications are provided through the signal light.

Working Principle:

Data acquisition: The measuring head inside the meter samples real-time current, voltage, temperature and other parameters at a high frequency, and the calculated power is accumulated in the register.

Data processing: At regular intervals (e.g. 100ms), the measuring head transmits the average value of the data to the table head through the connection line using a protocol based on CAN communication.

Information display: The table header generates transaction information packets that meet the requirements of regulations, and reports them to the upper computer of the pile through the HTTP/HTTPS protocol of the network cable. At the same time, the relevant information is displayed on the LCD screen.

User interaction: The user can turn the page to view some information other than the transaction through the button next to the display on the watch head. The display will distinguish controlled information from uncontrolled information, controlled information such as real-time electricity, meter S/N, firmware version number, etc. These information are controlled by regulations and cannot be modified by users, and can only be obtained through the upper computer.

Payment and control: Users can pay through the card reader or QR code scanner next to the display, or directly operate the touch screen to set charging parameters and control the charging process.

Through the above display and user interaction components, DC charging pile meters not only improve the transparency and user friendliness of the charging process, but also enhance the operational management efficiency of the charging station. The design and implementation of these components make the DC charging pile provide a more convenient and intuitive user experience.
