Components of the control module

Dc charging pile control module is the core component to manage and control the whole charging process. The control module usually consists of several key components.

Main component

Is the core processor of the charging pile motherboard, responsible for controlling the operation of the whole charging pile system. It integrates CPU, memory (Flash and RAM), timer, timer, ADC/DAC and other functional modules, which can realize data acquisition, signal processing, communication control and other functions.

Power Management Integrated Circuit(PMIC)

Responsible for power supply management and monitoring. It can provide a variety of voltage outputs to ensure the power requirements of the system in various working states, while also charging and protecting the battery.

Communication interface chip

It is used to realize communication protocols between charging pile and vehicle, network and other peripherals, such as CAN bus, RS232/485 serial port, Ethernet port, etc.

Power Switching IC(PSIC)

The switch used to control the power supply can realize fast switching and precise control.

charger controller ic

It is used to control current, voltage, power and other parameters during charging to ensure charging efficiency and safety. At the same time, it can realize the dynamic adjustment of charging speed and time, and provide protection functions, such as overload protection, short circuit protection, over temperature protection, etc.

Display Driver IC(DDI)

It is used to control the display content and format of the display screen, so that users can clearly understand the running status and charging data of the charging pile.

DC charging pile is an efficient charging facility for electric vehicles, which uses direct current (DC) to directly charge the vehicle battery, significantly reducing the charging time. Compared with traditional AC charging piles, DC charging piles are able to provide higher power output and can usually charge an EV to 80% of its capacity in 30 minutes, providing users with a convenient charging experience.
