Battery link system

The battery connection system is an integral part of the lithium battery pack, which is responsible for the electrical and mechanical connection between the battery cells, between modules, and between the battery pack and external devices. An efficient and safe connection system is important for battery pack performance, life and safety.

The connection system is an important part in the operation of lithium battery, and its design and optimization are directly related to the safety, efficiency and economy of the battery. In applications such as energy storage and transportation, a scientific and reasonable connection system can significantly improve the overall performance and market competitiveness of the battery pack

The link system mainly includes

Conductive connector

Materials: Commonly used high-conductivity and corrosion-resistant materials, such as copper, aluminum or nickel-plated steel.
Format: Conductive plate: a thin sheet connector, often used for monomer connections inside modules.
Conductive strip: Used to connect the electrical path between modules.
Soft connection: Flexible conductor used to reduce fatigue at connection points caused by mechanical stress.

Terminals and connectors

Functions: Quickly connect and disassemble the battery pack and external devices. Features:
High precision manufacturing to ensure low contact resistance.
It is usually designed with a locking or anti-misinsertion function to improve operation safety

Brackets and fasteners

Function: Fixed battery cell and connecting components to prevent loosening due to vibration or impact.
Features:
Common materials include high-strength plastic and metal frames.
Thermal expansion effects should be considered in the design to ensure long-term stability.

Insulating material

Function: Prevent electrical short circuit and leakage.
Format:
Insulation gasket: used for isolation between monomers.
Coating material: Covering the exposed part of the conductive sheet or connector.

Data and signal lines

Function: The voltage, temperature and current of the battery cell are transferred to the BMS.
Features: Using shielded wire design, reduce electromagnetic interference
