IPX8: Harmless for deep water immersion (the equipment can be submerged under water for the specified pressure and time, the specific standard is determined by the manufacturer).

IPX9: High pressure water flow is harmless (equipment can withstand the spray of high pressure cleaning equipment).

IP40

It has a certain protection ability for solid objects (diameter greater than 1 mm), but it is not completely dust-proof. The protection against water is very limited, and there are no waterproof measures.

Application scenario: IP40 is suitable for applications where there is relatively dry and no splash environment. It is not recommended to use it in humid or watery places.
