The solid installation foundation is the physical guarantee for the safe operation of the tower backup energy storage battery. Measures such as structural strength, horizontal stability, seismic performance and anti-corrosion protection can effectively extend the service life of the equipment, improve its adaptability to different environmental conditions, and reduce the risk caused by unstable foundations.

Structural strength

Load-bearing capacity: Energy storage batteries and cabinets must have sufficient load-bearing capacity to support the total weight of devices and maintain long-term stability to avoid settlement or deformation.
Material selection: Priority is given to using high-strength materials (such as reinforced concrete or steel frames) as the foundation to ensure the compressive and flexural properties of the foundation structure.
Foundation reinforcement: In areas with soft soil or poor geological conditions, foundation reinforcement should be carried out, such as pile foundation or cushion structure, to improve foundation strength.

Level and stability

Level correction: Before installation, use a level to correct the basic platform to ensure that it is completely level to avoid uneven force on the energy storage device due to tilt.
Fixing measures: The base of the device and the foundation should be tightly secured by bolts or support racks to prevent displacement caused by external forces or vibration.

Seismic performance

Seismic design: In earthquake-prone areas, the foundation shall comply with seismic specifications (e.g. GB 50011-2010), and shock pads or seismic supports shall be installed between the foundation and the equipment to absorb the energy of seismic fluctuations.
Dynamic load consideration: For large energy storage systems, the dynamic load of the equipment during operation should be considered to ensure that the foundation remains stable when subjected to vibration and mechanical stress.

Corrosion prevention and environmental protection

Anti-corrosion treatment: The surface of the basic material should be anti-corrosion treatment to avoid long-term exposure to wet, acid and alkaline environment leading to structural aging.
Drainage design: Drainage ditch or waterproof layer should be equipped around the foundation to prevent water from eroding the foundation or affecting the operation of the equipment.
