DC Negative Pole Contact (DC-contact) refers to the Contact point used to connect the negative electrode of the electric vehicle battery in the DC charging pile, and is a key electrical connection component in the DC charging process.

Function:

The main role of DC-Contact is to ensure the safe and efficient transmission of direct current energy from the charging pile to the battery of the electric vehicle. It undertakes the task of current transmission and is an indispensable part of the DC charging process. Since the DC charging pile provides a high power output, the DC-CONTACT must be able to withstand high currents to ensure the stability and safety of the charging process.

Working Principle:

The working principle of the DC charging pile involves converting AC power to direct current and controlling the output of current and voltage to fit the battery of the electric vehicle. In this process, DC-contact, as the negative Contact point of the DC output, together with the positive contact point, constitutes the complete circuit of DC charging. The power module inside the charging pile is responsible for converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) and transmitting the DC energy to the electric vehicle via DC-contact. During charging, the DC-Contact is connected to the negative electrode of the electric vehicle, forming a closed circuit that allows the current to flow through the battery for charging.
