Battery cell screening and matching is a crucial step in the battery assembly process to ensure the overall performance and stability of the battery pack. Through the screening and grouping of single battery, the mixed use of battery cells with large performance differences is avoided, and the safety risks and performance problems caused by battery cell differences are reduced. This process ensures that the capacity, internal resistance and voltage of each battery group are relatively consistent, which makes the battery pack more balanced in the charging and discharging process, extending the service life and improving the overall performance.

Key process
Capacity and voltage screening
Objective: To ensure the consistency of the capacity and voltage of the battery cell in a certain range, to avoid the influence of too high or too low voltage difference on the balance of the battery pack.
Process: By detecting the voltage and capacity of each battery cell, the cells with similar performance are selected and assigned to the same group. Usually, the voltage difference of each cell in the battery pack does not exceed 0.05V.
Internal resistance screening
Objective: Batteries with large differences in internal resistance may lead to unbalanced current distribution and affect the charging and discharging efficiency and lifetime of battery packs.
Process: Through the internal resistance test, the battery cells with close internal resistance are selected to ensure the balanced current and energy distribution in the battery pack.
Matching assembly
Objective: To group batteries with similar performance together to ensure that the battery pack can work evenly during charging and discharging.
Process: The screened cells are grouped according to the same voltage, capacity and internal resistance and assembled into modules. This ensures the balance and stability of the battery pack and avoids thermal runaway or other safety issues caused by performance inconsistency.
